Single Christmas Designs

Christmas stock is decided in autumn and sold in six weeks. This collection of 621 single designs is the flexible end of the range: one file at a time, so you can build a tight set around the motifs your customers actually buy.

When Christmas stock has to be printed

Retail demand starts in early November and peaks before mid-December. Working back from that, artwork needs to be chosen in September and printed in October. Shops that order in November are competing for the last two weeks, which is the most expensive time to be short of stock.

Singles versus the Christmas bundles

Bundles give breadth for a general range; singles let you stock the four or five motifs that suit your blanks. If you already know your customers buy snowflakes and typography but not reindeer, singles keep the range honest and the cash free.

Mixing typographic, character and traditional motifs

A range that is all one type reads flat. Typographic slogans carry the humour, traditional motifs (trees, snow, holly, stars) carry the safe sellers, and character-adjacent artwork carries the younger buyers. Stock a small number of each rather than a deep run of one.

Checks before the run

Red on red is the classic Christmas failure: crimson artwork on a burgundy garment disappears. Check contrast on the actual blank, and test any design with fine snow or small lettering at the size you plan to print.

FAQ

When should Christmas designs be ordered?

September for an October print run. November orders are late for retail.

Will a design be restocked if it sells out?

Digital files do not sell out, but the collection changes. Buy the files you need when you plan the range, not when the season starts.

Are these designs for shirts only?

No. They suit shirts, sweatshirts, totes and other printable blanks, subject to the file's own limits.

Do you guarantee delivery by Christmas?

There is no delivery promise here. These are instant digital downloads, so the timing is yours to plan.
